View Full Version : do engine guards fit custom 1200? canroc 26th January 2005, 03:37 I am interested in the engine guards HD part #49060-04 however I don't know if these will fit the Custom 1200... i.e. will the guards get in the way of the forward controls? Anyone out there have these guards on a Custom? I'm convinced. I see that you have something on your windshield.. looks like an E-Z pass or something like that. I have one for the NY thruway but wasn't sure where to put it. I tried it in my pocket but it wouldn't read. I guess the concern would be theft.. Even leave it on when I or God wash the bike. Many bikes around here have them on......usually about the same place. If it were stolen, a few clicks on the key board cancels it, so it's pretty much worthless to someone longer than an hour or so. Around here, if folks want to cheat the tollway, they just go thru the unstaffed drivethrough lanes.:tour |
