I finally had a chance to put my smoothed out rear fender on tonight. I still haven't figured out what I'm going to do about the taillight/license plate. I've got a side mount with a cateye that I can fall back on, but part of me wants to try and mount something to the fender- it just seems like a shame to cover up the nice job they did filling in the tallight hole. Everything fits like it should, so now I just have to paint it. I've been kicking around colors, but I just can't get excited about anything but black, so I'm sure it'll stay black. If I did another color I'd just wind up re-doing it in black anyway.:)

You could cut out a design and mount some lights
from the back side of the fender . maybe somthing
like this

It looks like a very nice job of filling the hole.

I'm not a huge fan of side mount plates/tail lamps...problem is, anything else sort of defeats the purpose of filling the fender...:frownone
