The Lions

I feel sorry for all the people that paid $1k for their tickets, only to wind up with stale "soft" pretzels and week old hot dog buns.

No way Dude, What are you, smokin' rope?:roflblack

If anyone will fold like a cheap card table it'll be Pittsburg.

But even if they don't, Seattle has a better balanced offence, and the most underrated defence in the conference.

but please, underestimate us, every one we have beat has.:doh

I already know the drill. I am a die hard steelers fan. I know they will fake to Bettis and confuse the defense and Ben will get the ball to randell-el end of story!!!

Just keep underestimating the seahawks. Hell even when we do win the analysts are gonna have a field day figuring out how to make it as meaningless as possible. No one has taken us seriously yet and I think its about to end with a win over the steelers.

How 'bout them Browns, oops forgot Cleveland teams always choke in the big game(the drive, the fumble, red right88 etc etc etc. I don't think I'll live long enough to see 'em in a Super Bowl let alone win it!! Should be a great super bowl this year Seattle is awesome but I think the Steelers will win.I really don't give a:censor about football anymore!! The original Brownies left in '95 Since they "came back" in '99 we've had 3 coaches ,chokes at QB and a billionaire owner crying that the team's not making money WAH,WAH,WAH!!!!!!

In '98 I was dragged kicking and screaming to Cleveland because of my job. The only thing that kept me sane was the fact that Frank Winters was part owner of the downtown Panini's and every Sunday it was "packed" with GB fans and the only game that mattered was on the big screen ;) . The next year the Browns came back and the management decided they could jam even more people into the place if they but the Browns on the big screen :doh . My Sundays were ruined by the return of the browns, that's the real tragedy. :D

You're right though, it'll be a long time before they see the Superbowl.

:gun Jeffytune, just noticed you're from Beaverton Oregon. Wish you had a pro football team. It could be the "Beavers." I could get behind a name like that. On the poll, I think it's a toss up. One team will !!! up big time, the other will win.

You guys are not playing in Seattle This weekend!!! You will be beaten away from home. Remember if the bus dont beat you big ben will. :banapart:roflblack :roflblack :roflblack :roflblack :roflblack

Jhard206
30th January 2006, 01:03
So if the bus doesn't get the job down you think Big Ben will get the job done just like Delhomme and Smith got the job done? Our defence has been under the radar all year and there is not a team they cannot stop. We were supposed to be doomed because of Santana Moss and the Washington Defence, trounced by the Steve Smith and the Carolina Offense, Murdered by Indianapolis's everything. When will you just accept that the Seahawks are a legitimately great football team? We have the best O-line, runningback and the most efficient QB. Our offense put up more points than any other team this year. Accept that we will win this.

I wonder how many people making bold claims in this thread will be posting after the game if their team does not back them up???

Ditto Jhard206!!! Seahawks have always been under-radar, under-rated, Even Under-known!

Ask Ellen DeGerneres Seattle Ospreys!?! WTF:doh

No matter the outcome of the SuperBowl, the one's that live in denial will always be negative!!

I'll still post either if they win or lose.
Gloat? No! Cry & Whine? Maybe a tear when nobodys looking. Hell I'll cry if they win!:laugh

GO SEAHAWKS!

Oregon State's (OSU) Football team is the Beavers.

And Portland's Triple "A" team is the Portland Beavers(There a Farm team for the San Diego Padres) so i think that would not work.

The biggest team we have now is the Trailblazers , but i don't care for basketball.

Portland did try to get the Expo's, but lost out to Washington DC....now there trying for the Florida Marlins.
I think they would need to change the name though, don't the the Portland marlin's would make much sense.

I do not think my first post was bostful or over the top in my perdiction.
I Like and followed both of these teams this year, and watched both when I could get the games.
But I am more a Seahawk fan.

The Seahawks 27-24 over the Steelers.

And, yes, without any winning I will post either way it goes.

I'm a University of Alabama grad, so I gotta go with the Seahawks - I hope Shaun Alexander is the MVP of the Super Bowl, to go along with his league MVP.

(Sorry Jerome, I truly am, as an "older guy" myself, I'd like for you to retire a winner at home, but not when you're a Notre Dame man and Shaun plays for the Seahawks. I hope you play well but that Seattle kicks butt.)

Looks to be a good game, but would not be surprised to see Seattle upset the steelers as the underdog. Bettis almost coughed up the last game.

I'm hoping Donovan can finally get his sh*t together............oh, that was last year, and the year before that and the one before that....usually go with the Steelers in a pinch since I am from PA but I think the Seahawks will take it. Should be a very good game!!:banana

Nice to see the natives admitting to a likely defeat! :roflblack

I don't follow sports, at all. Yet, I believe I will watch the SuperBowl this year. It should be a great skirmish, either way. :smoke
