Ice racing at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky. on Feb 16th and 17th. I know there aren't gonna be any Harleys there, but this is the next best thing to going to a 1/2 mile dirt track and its been so long since I have been to the races, I gotta get a fix somehow. They are running 4-wheelers and the speedway type bikes from what I understand. Anyone thinking about going???

I'm not in that neck of the woods, but I have fond memories of when they raced in Madison Square Garden. Too freakin' cool!

Flint, Mich??? Alot of great 1/2 milers came outta there. Bart Markel for one, and Scott Parker. Michigan always produced great dirt trackers. Those guys would ride the ice in the winter. You could always tell the ice racers by the way they rode when on the dirt. Springsteen has had it on the ice too. I have never been to an ice race. The closest thing is the movie "On any Sunday". I know the bike have changed alot but it still looks like a good time. My boss' son is a pro 4-wheeler racer, endurance rider. He was planning on racing at this event but there is a huge dealer show in Indy that weekend and they almost have to attend. They pick up alot of sponsors there for he upcoming season. Matter of fact, he has about a 30 second spot in the move "Dust to Glory", at the Baja 1000. OK....I'll quit rambling!!!!
