G'day Aussiegirl, nice bike.... I'd recommend you spend some time surfing ebay. I've bought quite a few add ons via ebay, including a 100th Anniversary bike cover and soon to arrive, a sissy bar. This is cheap shopping for HD stuff, I assure you. Have fun, ride easy, Dave.

Whats your main interest in looks/functionality for this beauty? Goin on long trips? go really fast? a unique look? lots of chrome? fatter?

Nice looking scoot. Here'bouts we get alot of dust storms which raise the dickins with black and white colors, though most bikes seem to be black, which is why I went to the silver/red combo. Do you have the same problem there? The white bike reminding me of the police bike thread. You a copper? :laugh

Its the stock seat as far as I know. Its comfy but I havent been on a long ride yet. I need to move a little forward so Ive ordered the reach solo but I will use this if I ever pillion someone

Ill keep that in mind. He did take it for a little run the other day - I think he was quite impressed. Lucky there is only one alarm key - and I know where its hidden :shhhh

I was surprised about the nice paint. The catalogue doesnt do it justice. Its a pearl paint with an undertone of blue. Its a lot nicer seeing it for real.

As far as my interest - fun, fun, fun.

It has to perform well - Im quite happy with the power at the moment. changing from a 250 to this.

It has to look good. Ill do some riding around when the kids are at school so not long trips then, but nice day trips with lunch in a nice location. But I want to be able to go away for a weekend with hubby as well.

Not too much problem with dust although we have been in a drought. There has been quite a bit or rain lately - especially since I bought it :frownone

No, not a copper. Im a mum

Hey AussieGirl,

Your bike looks great as it is, but since you asked... I think you should get rid of all the chrome, gat a hardtail frame, a raked springer fork, some ape hangers, a sprung seat, a 3 foot tall sissy bar (with a roo tail), some real short drag pipes and of course some white walls ;)

Just ride and enjoy for now Aussiegirl. I'm looking at a bobbed rear fender and drag bars later on for mine.

Aussiegirl.
Your bike is one of the best I've seen, but you might lose the tank emblem and go with a Briggs&Stratton. :tour
