As I was reading the updates on Eli and Panthers thread http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/showthread.php?t=147084. I saw the picture of Panther and Austin at the lemonade stand with Panther so proudly displaying the XLF patch he got from Stealthammer, I noticed that Panther was not a team member yet. With all his time and energy being devoted too his family I could understand why he was not signed up.

So I had this idea - maybe we (the XLF members) could pony-up and make Panther and Eli lifetime team members.

I sent Bert $25.00 to get Panthers membership rolling, Bert promised another $25.

So, just a few bucks from a few peoples and we could make this small but hopefull gesture happen.

(If we go over I'm sure Bert will send the rest on to the relay.)

in stead of a few bucks for a lifetime membership just send him the cash I think that would be more appreciated

Great idea Moe!
I'm sending Bert $25 right now. Thank you for the suggestion.

* Darett that's a great idea too, or send a donation to Panther and Eli's "The bELIeve Team" Relay for Life fundraising effort:

The bELIeve Team - Relay for Life (http://main.acsevents.org/site/TR/RelayForLife/RelayForLifePennsylvaniaDivision?team_id=192101&pg=team&fr_id=7602)

Or do both if you can.......

As I sit here with my son Eli sleeping I have a tear in my eye knowing that you are trying to do this for us. As long as I live I'll never forget all of you for everything you have done. I got the tattoo (Believe) under the cross on my inner right bicep because I bELIeve in a cure, I bELIeve in all of my XLForum friends. If this happens I will let Stealthammer tell Eli about this honor when he gets here on Tuesday the 13th. I was once in a WAR, and find myself in the BIGGEST fight in my life. As we stand firm together, and Eli knows he has the world with him this XLForum, and family and so many prayers we will win this war against CANCER!!!

I just got a PM letting me know that a member (who wishes to remain anonymous) has completed our mission to make Panther a life member of the XLF. We should be seeing double next to Panthers avatar within a day or so.

Welcome to your Life Membership Panther and Eli!:banadanc:banana:clap:laugh

Thanks everyone this is great!

And to our mystery member, a very special thank you. May you live a very long life in a euphoric state of bliss!

Hey Panther,

It says team member twice by your name? I guess that's one for you and one for Eli?

Cool! :clap:clap:clap:clap

Moe47 I can't bELIeve what you all have done. I have received awards during my 9 years in the US ARMY to include during a war time situation. I look at this award from all of you as the best award ever :danceman to Mr, or Mrs Anonymous I want to thank you from the very bottom of my heart for this. You have also made a wonderful 7 year old very happy as well.
