Motorcycle Works (http://www.mcworx.com/) Gary 30th January 2005, 06:31 Hey Rondall, Someone posted that site a couple weeks ago... But it's still great to see it again. It's nice to see some Sporties that look different from time to time. Thanks for pointing the website out again!!! Gary Rondall 30th January 2005, 06:37 Sorry for the duplication. I had looked for a previous post. These guys frequent the HD dealer where I work for Harley parts they need. Jeff at MW had a 300 Streetfighter frame at a recent bike show, and said he's putting one together for a 330/380 once he gets his hands on a tire! Thinking about building one when they start doing frames for rubbermounts. 200 will be wide enough for me, thanks. Gary 30th January 2005, 07:08 No reason to be sorry, it's great to see them again !!! Gary dwardy 30th January 2005, 07:57 The coolest lookin' one of the bunch... http://www.mcworx.com/images/othersports/sport18.bmp engine 30th January 2005, 16:44 I like this one. I've seen there website a long time ago (being a Sporty owner and all). Then I went on a company trip just outside of KC so I stopped by their shop. I told him I was a fan of their bikes through their site and he gave me a tour. I even got to see some of the projects in the back. Pretty sweet!!! I'm standing here at work, (Gail's HD) looking over the service counter at Galen Soule's Fat 48 that you guys were in on! Well hello, How are things in MO? Was down your way for the last show and spent some time with Galen his family and some other friends. Tell Galen Big Joe from Klock Werks says Hi! Galen have you all on another project yet? Peace RogueFTW 15th February 2005, 16:21 Thanks for the plug, I'm new to the site and glad to see I'm among friends. Peace Joe hey, not a problem. by the way, in my most humble opinion, the Flashback Sportster frame kicks ass, but I'm wondering if a set of aped Z-bars could be mounted on that frame. Peace He's been seen looking at a lot of old bobber pictures recently. ;) Big Daddy Chop 17th February 2005, 03:22 He's been seen looking at a lot of old bobber pictures recently. ;) That does not suprise me. After he saw and sat on our Cherry Bomb bobber at the Gail's show he got that look in his eye. :D Peace Rondall 17th February 2005, 05:17 That does not suprise me. Big Daddy Chop 17th February 2005, 15:29 I helped with that show. One of my faves was the Indian Bobber. I will go along with that. Brian and I hung out with Paul Yaffe, Donnie Smith and crew. We all were in agreement on that one. There were a couple things I would change, tank mounts left something to be desired for one. All in all it was a great bike. First time for the father/son combo that built it if I remember correctly. I just wanted to roll it outside and ride it. There was a rootbeer colored Mutant buell there also I liked. The fit and finish was no the best but it was a bitchin little scoot. Peace Rondall 17th February 2005, 16:08 I will go along with that. Brian and I hung out with Paul Yaffe, Donnie Smith and crew. The color is a Hummer H2 paint. I want to build one once they start making frames for rubber mounts. |
