clicky the linky for short avi. forgive the cheesy quality, we will do better tomorrow with a better camera.

what ya think? it flys like a gazel, smooth, not a tire melter, just smooth pull and hang on when 3.5-4k comes around:wonderlan

I could drill the slide and lighten the spring to get the slide out of the way quicker, hence build boost even faster, but havent played with that part of the tune yet.
Am running a 42 low and a 180 main and a n-65 shimmed. and at WOT 3rd gear pull to 6.5k the AFR is 13.3:clap

I put about 50 miles on it today tinckering and tuning:tour :D

thanks, I angled the carb to follow the contour of the tank and it makes the whole thing leaving more knee room than my ham can did!:smoke

Very clean install. If it was mine, I would put a larger K&N cone filter on it. That filter you have looks really small to flow the air your engine would need ... just my opinion.

I noticed something. The bike is a late model rubber mount, but the engine looks like a pre-04. You have the 3 piece rocker box assembly that didn't come on a rubber mount 04 and later engines ... Obviously, that's a replacement motor ???

look at you with the eagle eye!:smoke for you! I got those boxes off of ebay from a big twin and they were pretty when the bike was clean.:p
I dunno, I may try one that has the 45 on it and aim it down and in.
So far, it does ok, doesnt seem to restrict it, of course we will know when I get on the dyno, hopefully tomorrow. We can do a pull with and w/o to see whats up.:)

Please do!

A pass with and another w/o the filter.....

Just for the archives, of course.

to much rain here for the next couple of days, Sam, what type of filter do you use on yours? (I'm learning to start asking, 'cause he's prolly BTDT) Have you tried w and w/o ?

That things just looks wicked. That will blow those rice grinders panties up there a$$, and have them crawling back home to mommy. LOL!! But it looks great. Probbley cost quite a bit though, huh??

I am thinking the the torque will rule out over the rice burners up to about 100+ mph. When I was stock, I could own a 600 up to about 80 then they would start screaming on by. Now is a different story, so I would think at about 100-120 is where I'll have to fall off and their aerodynamics and high rpm's gives them the easy win.
This doesnt make the harley a rice killer by far, my bike weighs in at 550 and is going to be in the range or over 100/100 I think fairly easily. Their bikes come stock with 140hp or more and weigh in the 300's, when they are modded, well, there goes any chance of whipping the ricers, but in the HD world, I can kick some major butt!:roflblack I think it puts the bike where the factory should have it. Now where are those arrogant Big Twin owners at? (I know, I know, not all are like that, I just happen to know one in my neighborhood that needs an educatin' of sorts and I'm even gonna leave the windsheild on for it too)

expensive? nah

I use K&N 3x4. Straight and angled. But no dyno time w/o.

Haven't seen the dyno man for a while; his Pro Stock (built from the best of the catalog) bike only made 160 hp. When I swapped for the 883's, he said to come back when I got to 200. Dunno if he meant HP or MPH.

Any NOS gurus out there? How big of jets can I put in (Fogger2 nozzle x 2)?
Guess ya want to figure cylinder pressure: 3 13/16 bore and stroke, 62cc chambers (think that's right) 8:1 compression? Add 20 pounds boost, max.
Need cam specs, too? Red shift .615 turbo grind. Figure mininum overlap.
Cylinders are Axtell O-ring. The heads have prolly bought my indy a new milling machine by now. Is 250 cfm too much, mebbe.

Guess it comes down to the stretch factor of studs......
