i bought a 2000 XLH 883c on leave in january. i talked to shamdog about his 2000 XLH1200 motor for sale, so instead of spending a $1000 for a shop to do a jug and piston swap, im just gonna bolt on shamdogs 1200 jugs pistons and heads,(saving a lot of dead presidents) i can always have the heads sent off to wiseco or hooker or whomever, right? am i gonna have trouble slapping a 1200 on my 883 case?

Nope. Should fit straight on. Why not just swap the motor complete?

Because all I'm selling is the Heads/Jugs/Pistons/Intake. That's what I'm supposed to be getting from someone on the XL List. Unfortunatly, since I said yes to him - no contact for a week. Hope the deal goes through...for both our sakes.

I'll be selling my 1200 jugs and conversion pistons soon...going with XB heads and new pistons, if things don't work out for you there will be other opportunities ;-)
