With the new forum software you and now assign keyword "tags" to threads you create.

"Tagging" a thread allows you to enter a few keywords to your thread so that when members search for specific words the thread is easier found buy the XLF search engine.

You can find the location to add tags below the thread editor box and above the Post Icons.

If you go to the main forum page here: http://xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/index.php you will see the TAG CLOUD which shows you the most current tags.

Also at the top of each thread you will see the tags that the thread author assigned. If you are not the thread author you can add up to two tags to the thread.

Please all...if you remember...please tag your posts or threads with keywords so that the search function works better.

You can even tag a thread if your did not create it.

why are some tags in a bigger font than others? Does that mean they are searched more, or have more threads tagged with that word?

The larger the tag the more often it is being used. It is kinda a measure of what it being talked about.
