At the top right corner of all XLF pages, under the Welcome (your username) you will see a new link that says Your Notifications instead of the old Private Messages.

If you click on this link you will see sever different choices. These choices coincide with the new Social Groups features.

Likewise here, but I did see some of the social networking goodies in the CP.

Ok....It is only on the main portal page.

Ok here is the deal. It say NEW NOTIFICATIONS only when you have something new like a new private message or someone wants to add you as a friend in their user profile or social group. Other wise it just says PRIVATE MESSAGES.
