Social Groups is a new feature on XLF.

You can create or view all social groups here: http://www.xlforum.net/vbportal/forums/group.php and there is a link on the MAIN MENU on the side.

You can make a pubic, moderate, or invite only group.

I have already created a Social Group that is call European Riders. This is a moderated Social Group for those living in Europe. If you create a moderated or invite only group then you are the moderator of the group.

You can send messages inside the groups that are only viewable by group members. Please remember all XLF posting guidelines still apply.

Cool. Just logged on and looking at all the new features. The main page definatly looks different... thanks for keeping XLF up to date and running smoov!

Say you want to to meet other XLF members who are hard headed and annoying. You could create a public Social Group call Kev M's Hardheaded and Annoying Friends :p.

If it is a Public group then anyone can join it.

It it is a Moderated group then anyone wanting to join would request membership and the creator of the group would need to approve their membership.

If it is an Invitation Only Group then the owner (and other members I believe) need to invite others to join.
