I just dropped my Bike off at one of the Local Dealers today to get it Rejetted and Dyno Tuned to fix the previous Dealers screw up
Here is my current setup
2005 1200 Custom with D&D Slip-ons SE Air Cleaner Thunderslide kit and Ignition Module.
I am very curious to see what the results are once its done so I know where to go from there to get what I want out of it.
Eventually I plan on adding Stage 2 Heads from NHRS a set of 536 SE cams and Roller Rockers but it will be awhile before I have the cash (Winter Project for next year )
Is anyone else running a similar setup because I am very curious to see what kind of results they got
I will post a copy of the Dyno Sheet when I pick the Bike up.

I think that NRHS has something similar on their website in the dyno section...have you checked there? :)

What are they charging for a dyno tune? And what are they planning to change during the tune - just the jets?

Its going to be about 150 bucks and the dealer I bought the Bike from has my Carb all screwed up so I went with a different Dealer that several friends recomended.
The jetting is way off the needle needs shimmed and the diaphram is thrashed I would have just done it myself but I Fractured my Tibia in 2 places and had to have pins and scews put in to repair it on Christmas Eve and its just to hard for me to work on it the Bike right now so I had the Dealer Take care of it for me
They even came to my house to pick it up and are going to drop it off here when its done for FREE so I cant complain to much

Well I got a message on my answering machine today from the Dealer and they said they have my Bike done.Unfortunately for me by the time I got home they were closed already. He said they got great numbers out of it on the Dyno 76.4 HP and 78.5 TQ. They changed one of the jets added a shim on the needle and replaced the Diaphram because it had a pinhole in it. I am going to go pick it up on Monday and I go back to the Doctor on Friday so maybe he will cut me loose so I can start rididng again. Now if the weather would just cooperate.

Those numbers are almost identical to mine. I got 77HP and 78.5TQ with CS tapered slip-ons, 2 shims and a 44 pilot jet.

Makes me wonder about the value of the thunderslide kit and ignition module.

In fact, the dealer wanted to know if someone put a thunderslide kit in my bike because it dynoed so well.

It should be interesting to see if our Dyno charts are also almost identical.

Had my '05 1200C dyno tuned a couple of weeks ago. I installed the new AC and pipes, but let the local indy do the re-jet with a No Hassle Rejet Kit. The kit, labor and dyno was about $145.00.

Got some pretty decent numbers, although not quite as good xlch 721's; but my Stage I didn't include an ignitiuon module.

I'm pretty darn happy with my results.

Here's some info that I "cut and pasted" from an earlier post that gives some details.

"Picked up "Pearl" from the local indy, Hog Alley, last night where they did a re-jet and put her on the dyno. Got a good increase in both torque and horsepower.

The Set Up:
NRHS Hurricane Flow AC
No Hassle Jet Kit
V & H Shortshots Staggered

Results:
Max. STD Torque -- 75.4
Max. STD Horsepower -- 74.0

Ken, the mechanic/tech, was pretty impressed with the whole set up; especially the Shortshots and the Hurricane.

Looks like a steady gain in HP where it peaked out at 74 at 6K rpm which is where Ken shut her down.

Also, the torque curve is one that makes for fun ridin'. Starts at about 31 at 2K RPM. Jumps up to about 68 at 2.5K RPM when Ken blipped the throttle and then gradually climbs pretty much all the way thru about 5K RPM where it starts to fall off. Looks like the maximum torque, 75.4, is right at 4.5K RPM and stays close to that to about 5K RPM where it starts to fall. At 5.5K RPM its still at about 69 and at 6K RPM, where he shuts it down, its at about 64.

More power. Runs great. Sounds awesome. I'm happier than a dog with two tails."

I picked up my Bike today. I talked to the Tech that did the work to see what all was done to it. They put in a 48 Pilot with a 180 Main, shimmed the needle another .030 and replaced the Diaphram on the slide. They did not change out the slide so I am still running the Thunderslide kit. I have to say that the Bike runs great considering its only 39 degrees out. I froze my arse off on the 40 mile journey home but I only got one carb fart and that was right after I pulled out of the Dealers lot motor was still a little cold. The bike has alot of power and the throttle response is very snappy. I pulled out and cracked the throttle and caught a little air with the front end when I hit second and third gear. My bike has never run this strong. so my current setup consists of D&D Performance Slipons SE Thunderslide kit with a 48 pilot 180 Main Needle on the third clip with .060 worth of Shims SE Air Cleaner and Ignition Module until I can save up enough cash to get a Hurricane Flow air cleaner setup a set of cams Stage 2 Headwork and a Mikuni carb. I paid 180 bucks for the new Diaphram,Jet,Shims, and Dyno time with Labor and 10 bucks for my discount card so I didnt think it was to bad of a deal.Would have been better if the other shop would have done it right the first time but this Dealer picked up my Bike for free and offered to deliver it free but I didnt want to wait until tomorrow to get it back. The people at the dealer were very nice and went out of their way to help me out needless to say I will not be returning to the shop I bought my bike from and will now use this dealer from now on. I dont have my dyno sheet handy but I will post it as soon as I get around to it
