Looking to buy a set of cams that are for an 04-present xl. Will these fit a 1995 xl if I change the pinion gear or are the cams different otherwise. They are Andrews N6 cams. Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, all you have to do to make them fit is change the pinion gear, but I'm not 100% sure. :dunno

Yes, that's correct. You have to either update your pinion gear, or alternatively, you can press the drive gear off your old #2 cam and press it onto your new #2 cam. But that takes a bit of know-how, to keep the cam timing right. It's easier to change the pinion gear.
