Hello everyone.

I'd like to start of by thanking everyone for answering some of my previous questions, espessially ASWRACING.

I am working on a special but complicated Buell project. I'm using a
98 Buell S1W to build one-off street rod. The bike came with the stock header which has a 2 1/2 collector and a V&H SSR2 stainless slip-on.
The combination works well but for my application the header sticks out quite a bit from the engine. This is a problem because there will be forward controls. I was going to live with it untill someone suggested I use a header from a 99 M2 which is the later model header but without an O2 sensor which is used in the other models. The header is much sleeker and out of the way. It will solve my problem but can I still use the SSR2 slip-on that came with the bike. Is the size and position of the collector the same? I beleive the part number for the muffler is #16501 and for the M2 models its #16531. They look identical in a picture. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks a lot...
