I bought these wheels for my sportster cafe project, it seems that the rear axle is 1" unlike the sporty 3/4" am i correct? and what would be the best way to correct this? I have looked through all of the catalogs and cant find a 1" axle, does anyone know the length of the axle that goes with the wheels, I am having to use a new swingarm (wider) so the axle needs to be long enough?

In 05 Sportsters got a 1" axle, but I don't think that's gonna help you. Your best bet will probably be to change the rear wheel bearings. If you have a bearing house nearby they should be able to fix you up.

Just reread you post: If you plan on changing the swingarm anyway, an 05 swingarm might be made to work, but I wouldn't know...
I can give you the axle length if you need it though. Won't be any trouble since I have an S1 scattered all over my garage.
