Installed the SE plug wires today,along with SE triple platinum plugs.
Ok,this may sound stupid,but will the way these wires are routed cause any problems?

I didnt want to cross them but after I did the rear first,the front wire just seemed to have more slack than it should(Yes, I did them one at a time,and yes they are both the same length)
This let it sit a little too close to the rocker cover for my liking,so I rerouted it behind the throttle cables,crossing the other wire to the ignition.
It still sat a little close to the rocker cover, so I cut the heat shield off one of the stockers,cut it in half and put it on the left side of both wires,partly to keep the front wire away from the cover on the left side,and partly cause I thought it was just too much orange.

Took it for a 50 mile test ride afterwards,and all seems well,in fact it may be just my imagination, but it seems to have a bit more grunt and willingness to rev in the low end.
Guess what I`m asking here is will the way the wires are crossed in the first pic cause any electrical problems,and is the plastic heat shield too close to the rocker cover (heat?) in the second pic.....
Or am I just being paraniod?
