Very nice. I really like the white oil tank and the changes to your controls. It made a huge difference!

Vey nice. I like the painted oil tank, taillight and plate mount. The chrome cases looks great with the white paint.

You've done a lot of work, why not post a list of mods and any pitfalls that you ran into?

Looks really fantastic Russ, great job! Are you going to be selling the stock seat? If so I may be interested. I'm planning on going to a 4.5 gal tank and I have to get a seat that fits a custom.

Interesting title- 'Finished Product'. I don't think they are ever finished, as there will always be something lined up as a 'next purchase'...! :laugh Mine was finished MONTHS ago, but I'm STILL buying stuff! :shhhh

Nice bike!

Every wrench turned by yours truly. Bike hasn't seen a service bay since it left Northshore HD.

I'm still debating what I want to do with the back wheel. I'm also considering adding a detachable sissy bar for the wife, but she still isn't too big on the whole 'riding' idea. If she doesn't want to ride, I'll go back to the solo seat. I thought it looked better on the bike.

Xena, I tried cutting up my stock seat to get me closer to the ground, but it didn't work out. So the seat is pretty much useless. Otherwise, I'd make you an offer to sell it.

Pitfalls:

To install the lower belt guard, you need to remove the rear muffler and the exhaust crossover tube.

1200 conversion is well documented... It does vibrate more, but so what?? :D

Otherwise, everything was as expected installing it.

Overall, I'm really happy with it, considering it's my first Harley, and my first custom motorcycle.
