hey all


i need an ignition for a 91 evo xl 883 engine i have. I have NO other ignition type parts so i am looking for a nose cone module. someone on here mentioned the se programmable coil - ebay has it for 100 bucks.

i have used a crane hi-4 that had 5 wires i believe. i didn't use the tach or voes ones on that one. i believe the screamin eagle one has 6 wires. can i just use the 3 wires i need - for a single fre ignition coil. or will that ignition not work unless all the wires are used? i don't want to spend a hundred bucks on nothing. i have read opinions on crane, dyna, etc and am just trying to get the best module for my money. i doon't have a prob spending more on the dyna or the crane if it is worth it. but if i can save 100 bucks by using this one, i will.

this is an electric start only. by the way. and i am open to other ignition suggestions that you may have. i already have a single fire coil to use (brand new)
