Alright went to my indy today and got my parts. Got a Andrews V4 Cam set, Adjustable Rods, JIMS Hydra Solid Lifters, and new cam bearings and all new gaskets and O-Rings. Well got cam and lifters in but am wondering how to and the easiest way to but the adjustable rods in. Never done this before.

did you get collapsible pushrod covers? what else are you doing to the engine that you need the hydrasolids...it may have been in another post that was obvious but I missed it :) ...just curious...I'll let someone else who knows more than I do answer your actual questions :)

And ya might consider the new designed pushrod covers, think I found mine from JP Cycles. Always had problems with leakage till I installed these re-designed ones.

And in a couple years am going to do the 1250 kit and stage 2 or 3 heads. Right now just doing the V4 cam set, S&S Super E carb, and Python 2 Exhaust.

Thanks everyone for the help, I'll look on Andrews sight, and I will look into the new collapsable rod covers.

Will do raysheen, yeah its a step by step process for sure. Moneys the biggest thing so Im going to do it slowly. Will probbley do the 1212cc kit this winter, then next year will probbley be the big 1250 kit with the new heads and probbley a even bigger cam like a S&S 600 or Andrews V8, and sometime I want to do a 5spd conversion, and many more updates. But will tell as I am able to afford and have the parts ordered or on. Need to get a digital camera and take some pics before I get to far along.

I would suggest going with the 1250 with the axtell cylinders right away and then save your pennies for your head work that will follow. save you buying things twice or doing things twice which usually costs twice as much
