I have a leaking oil problem and will NOT let that fact keep me from riding (til I get the gaskets and replace them..) Can anyone give me an idea for a good degreasing cleanser that will also enhance my chrome and rinse off without any spotting and be so very easy that a child could do it and oh its cheap too?

Maybe some Eagle 1 - Never Dull? I used it to clean some oil off my pipes. Worked pretty well.

you could always paint your chrome matt black like I'm doing then you dont have to worry about polishing :laugh

It's from an old Windex commercial......

I use the cheapy degreasers in a can...they are one of the few that don't affect polished alloy

Chrome is the shiny stuff on motocycles to make them shiny!
The shiny stuff causes women to look and envy the rider on the shiny motorcycle. A recent poll affirms the fact that girls find men riding shiny motorcycles, much more handsome than those who ride bikes with very little chrome. I can personally attest to this fact. Often as I am parking my shiny chrome Harley, women will approach me and say, "thats a nice shiny bike you have there, and you are a handsome man"! It gets kind of embarrassing sometimes, but I can't really argue with them. See, this sort of attraction never happened when I was riding my Whizzer or my Cushman Highlander, both having very little shiny chrome. A lot of times, as I parked my Whizzer and Cushman, people would call me a "big goofy looking dinklewad". Some folks are just bad, bad people.

and if'in the ladys like shiny then they'll just love my wheelchair as it is all shiny and the seat is very comfy and I can do wheelys to impress the ladys too

Just a thought, after you get it clean use a good wax like mirror glaze. it will help to clean it off next time with just a wipe.
