So, I'm finally getting the time to do a headlight conversion, per the Dale's document on the subject that I got off the XL-List. The problem I'm running into is the connector coming form the speedo/indicator cluster. The wiring just isn't long enough to reach into new headlight bucket. If anyone else has run into this, help me out and let me know hwat you did. At this point, I think I'm going to finish up all the other wiring and cut that connector off as well as the other half of the connector it attaches to and directly connect these wires.

I'm half tempted to scrap this wire rat nest and completely rerun all the wiring to get rid of this mess in the bucket. Suggestions? Thanks in advance

OR... you could add some length behind the connector...
