I need to change my oil, but I don't feel like going to my stealer to get the filter, I feel like I need to shower after I visit them. Anyways, there is a local indy that sells the K&N oil filters with the doo hicky so you can get your ratchet on the filter. Are these filters any good? You guys used them before? I thought I heard something bad about them here, but I couldn't seem to find the post. :smoke

No problems with the K&N oil filters. I have used them and a few of my friends use them also. The only filter I saw that there was a problem with is the Mobil 1 filter.

I have run the Fram filter with good results. It is not orange though. The one I got was black with Fram printed in white on it.

The one I got was the Fram PH3600, not the one they "make" for motorcycles. Orange with the black grip material on the head of it.
I'll let you know if it fits.
