Well. On Sunday I decided to go and retake my test for the MSF class since I biffed the test when I took the class (still within the three months free re-test period).
Fortunately this time I was able to run the test on something a little closer to my sportster. All my points were taken off on a single section. The instructor even remembered me from last time and asked me what the problem was since the last time it was the one I aced. Funny thing was the bike I was testing on had buckhorns. I tossed mine in the trash last year (rode for about 6 years with them) and traded them in for drag bars. It's amazing how different the handling is going back to those. Since I rode out to the test after the class was over he had me run the section I missed on the sporty. He then told me if I had done that on the test I would have had a perfect score.. Go figure.
On another note.. Seeing watching a kid in the class even though he passed you can tell he'll be a statistic and shouldn't be on two wheels. Unfortunately his dad was there with him and had the same attitude. Even the instructor said he wished there was some way he could have failed him but he did the exorcises correctly.
Kinda sad seeing that.
