So the weather was great today and Willie has been buggin' me for a ride so I took off the mornin' for our Nation's Capitol, Washington D.C. We had a great time.

Nobody else rode with me though....:doh

WilliG on the Mall, he wanted to see his Congressman to gripe about Garden Gnome discrimination but I reminded him it was Sunday and nobody was there.

It got a little crazy when he protested W at his house. He darted out on to the lawn and the White House went on full alert. Luckily being on a the lawn he didn't look out of place and was not arrested.

The guys haven't been out on any rides yet. We have a Skyline Drive run coming up & Rolling Thunder. There just haven't been too many opportunities to take him anywhere.


I am going to the Gettysburg bike week and if anyone wants to meet me there to adopt Willi that would be fine.

Unfortunately I haven't had many opportunities to take Willie out and yes it's time for him to move on. I was going to take him to Rolling Thunder later this month. After that he can get in touch with the travelocity gnome and make plans for his next stop.

So Willie has been buggin' me again...all week long. "I wanna' go for a ride!" over & over, it was driving me crazy. I finally broke down and took him for a long ride through the Virginia mountians along Skyline Drive with Carl-04xl & Zenbiker.

We had a good time, but the heat got to me a little after standing in line for 45 minutes to get a bottle of water, even Willie couldn't stand up.


Willie will be gettin' ready to move on now. He has a first class ticket to Texas to spend some time with Whispanic. I think Willi's gonna join the Minutemen and guard the border.
