Ok, now for my first nugget question....
I had a buell and I have seen a lot of chopped up buell's turned into stretched and bobbed choppers. I on the other hand love the performance virtues of the buell. To that end I am dropping some progressive enertia shocks on the rear of the 83 ironhead and I have been trying to figure out how to do the front forks. I am curious if the tube frame X1 lightening models inverted forks and tripple tree can be adapted to my frame? I am not concerned about lowering the bike with these items as the technology advancements will more than make up for the remaining ground clearance.
I have a 83' XLX in pretty much stock form. My primary bike is the TL1000r V-Twin and I would love to build out my 83 with as much of a performance edge as possible.
Any idea?
