Better ask trout, He is the man when it comes to fly fishing. I putter at it like everything else. Too much to do and so little time.

Very hot. What a Sporty should have had from the start.

I have to agree becaust there would be plenty of them on ebay. I have had, fwds, and mids so why not rearsets.

Rearsets look and perform really well, but there is no way I could have em. I get pretty bad cramps with the mids, and the forwards feel alot better. Maybe I'm wrong, but I just don't think my long legs could handle the rear sets. They look great though, and tell us how they perform!

I'd love to put rearsets on my '05 but I often have the wife on the back and this wouldn't leave much room for pillion pegs. Gotta make some sacrifices I suppose.

Cheers,

Brett

I never liked my p.m. forward controls. Hard to put an 1150$ set of controls in a box but I just can't part with them. I got them because the master cyl was up front and they simply look better then all the rest. Still always felt like I was sitting on the bike and not in it. Not good for my style of riding.

Chainsikle makes a rear peg relocation kit you can hang your rear footpegs on. They are about 45$. Cool Part. They clamp right over the swingarm and you can put them where you want.http://home.comcast.net/~chainsikle/images/4-005B__iso_med.jpg http://home.comcast.net/~chainsikle/images/4-006_Display_small.jpg

And yet some people still put those butt-ugly looking super huge rubber footpegs on the front. That is such a waste on some otherwise great looking rearsets. I didn't find any aftermarket or HD pegs that I really liked, so I just got another set of rear pegs and put them on the front. I was toying with replacing them all with aluminum pegs, but figured I'd need the rubber of the smaller rear pegs to keep my feet from disconnecting from my ankles. Those of you who have rearsets, they look great, and keep those sources coming. Once I decide on my exhaust setup, I'll start looking at rearsets.

I have some small billet pegs I just could not find them at the time. I am not thrilled with these either but I will find the pretty new ones or I will make my sleak PM ones work.

I've seen the chainsicle rear peg mount. I'm not so keen on mounting the pillion pegs to the swingarm, but no real alternatives. I like the chainsicle rearsets, but they are only up to 2003. Anyone know of rearsets for an '05 model?

Cheers,

Brett

Tx, if you have about 15 minutes you can have them on. The have all the correct bolts taped to the spots they belong so the guesswork is elliminated.

Ralph - where did you get them from? Trak-Tek? Chainsikle?

Chris at Trak-Tek should have Rearsets for rubbermounts soon. Be patient.

I got mine from chainsikle. $225. Easy instructions and about a half hour job if you take your time and have a good set of allen sockets.

Those sets look nice, i would have a hard time staying wadded up with my height advantage. For keeping your
feet under your body that is the way to go for better control.
