I got a 2001 XLH883, and ordered the CycleShack S/S bolt-ons, K&N, Accel plugs, and 883 re-jet kit from Sorgys on eBay. This Sorgy is one cool guy! He spent time with me on the phone talking shop and how to pay the tax.

I believe he sends you a 45 and a 170 jet in his re-jet kits (9.00 bucks).

I put in the new jets, the K&N (and oiled it), the new plugs, and installed the Cycleshacks. I had to use 1-1/2 turns on the set-idle to get my plugs to look right. I dont think I have to do much with the needle shim, as 60 miles of hard riding with a couple of buddies with twin cam 88's for 60 miles produced some nice looking plugs.

There IS a difference in performance, and the sound is awesome! (cant wait for the morning when I can play some music for the neighbors).

I like the Cycleshacks, but they are LOUD!!! If you like to cruise with others and do late night poker runs, you feel like you have a cop magnet. I'm not used to the new barking tone the bike has (but I do LOVE IT). I just dont like attracting cops where ever I go (I feel for the V&H owners).

For those considering it, give s0rgy on eBay a try, as the recommendation for xlh883s work.

good post mrr
I bout my cycleshacks from Sorgy awhile back (end of last season's riding) I only got to put on about 50 miles with them. They are awesome.
I talked to Sorgy yesterday and ended up ordering an Arlen Ness Big Sucker air cleaner.
He will always give you a competative price a better service than most. Plus his shipping is super fast and he will take the time on the phone to answer support questions.
Have fun.

The cycle shacks are actually not all that loud compared to most aftermarket exhaust, its just that the stock mufflers are so quite and plugged up you just need a little time to get use to them. Just enjoy your bike and don't worry about the cops I don't think to many riders have got a ticket unless they were revving it and just plain asking for it and besides its usually just a fix it ticket in most states.

I got my Cycle Shacks from Sorgy's too. They sound VERY loud initailly but seem to quiet down to 'just right' after about 1000 miles. Good luck with them.

Hearing or just getting use to. Its just the initial shock that you think its to loud and then when you figure out everyone elses is still louder you just forget about it.

I got my cycle shacks from Sorgy's as well. This week I also installed a K&N filter and drilled the stock backplate (much cheaper than a SE setup here in the UK). I've now done as effective a stage one as any dealer and at a fraction of the price.

All thanks to Sorgy's. Can't fault the service.

Sorgy has been my main vendor for the whole time I've had the bike. He's great, always has the best price - fast as hell shipping. And is a cool guy.

I wouldn't go through anyone else.

Hello from a new member, How do I find Sorgy's at e-bay? I haven't been able to locate his store.

Need to pay the taxes.

Thanks wvmedic.
