Several years ago I was lucky to be doing some work at the Missoula University and one the professors there took me over Lolo Pass. Wow, beautiful scenery! It was snowing that day, but I'd like to see what it looks like in Summer. Take and post pics!
Day one:

Day two (plan anyway)

This one may be more doable:

Or...

AOW,
I have been lagging in catching up on all the posts. Day 2 you are going right through my city...Great Falls. I'd ride along with you a little ways and buy you some lunch if you get this. If you have access to the forum on the road then PM me and i will send my cell phone number to you. Otherwise have a great trip.

Sounds like a pretty good trip. Glacier is great ! Have fun.
Back home from an absolutely awesome trip!
Day 1 as planned - Left Seattle at 5:00 am and got to Whitefish, MT around 9:00 pm Mountain Time. 705 miles.
Day 2 - Left Whitefish around 6:00 am, hit Glacier NP and spent a little time there which left us short for the goal for the day. Spent that night at a hiking trailhead outside of Red Lodge, MT. 596 miles.
Day 3 - Beartooth Hwy/Pass (best ride ever) and spent half the day in Yellowstone sightseeing. Way behind now and must extend trip another day. Left West Yellowstone after lunch around 3:00 pm and got to Coeur D' Alene, ID at 10:30 pm where we spent that night. 670 miles.
Day 3.5 Left Coeur D' Alene around 6:15 am and arrived home in Seattle around 11:30 am.
