I don't know if any of you have seen this yet, but I thought all of you might like seeing the colors for the 2007 Harley models. It was posted on another forum and confirmed by a Harley dealer. If it has already been posted on this site, I apologize. I haven't seen it here.

Too bad there wasn't a link for the actual photo imagery. I'll have to check it out. It seems they've been coming up with unique color combinations the last year or so, but that's just good marketing.

Thanks for the post....

I want to see the new FXDBI Street Bob flat denim colors. (flat pewter and flat blue) I almost bought a flat black one, but I bought the 883C instead. Dont regret it, but I will definetly have to look at the new colors and have a tough decision to make.

No more chopper blue. Looks like the odds of there not being another Sporty in the nieghborhood like mine just got better.:banana

I curious about a few. Namely the Suede Blue, Pewter Pearl, Pewter Denim, Pacific Blue Denim and White Gold Pearl.

Olive Pearl just sounds ugly.

Would you like vivid black and black denim, or black denim and vivid black?

I noticed alot of new colors as well as the removal of some. My question is did anyone notice that on that list there are 5 models missing? I compared the current models with the list and the following are missing: FXDI35(which was a one year only model probably anyway), FXDC, FXSTS, FLST, and VRSCA. I'm trying to figure this one out.

I can't imagine you being wrong about the FXD35I, as that's an anniversary model, and I can't see them producing an anniversary model for more than one year.

The Super Glide Custom has filled a hole that didn't exist, so I'm not suprised that they'll can that one.

The FXSTS (Springer Softail) also has dismal sales. I really can't say I've ever seen one outside of a dealer. The Springer Classic is a much nicer looking bike.

The Softail Heritage-FLST (not the Heritage Classic) is really just a FatBoy with different paint and staggered exhaust. Again, no suprise here it's getting dropped, although I have to say I really liked these bikes from an asthetics stainpoint.

I am pretty suprised about the V-Rod...my only guess would be the Night Rod has become a much more popular bike, so again, there's no need.

Did you happen to notice any new models listed? I'm not able to open that file for some reason...

Well the Dynas, ok, no biggie they drop the Custom and yeah the anniversary model was going to be a one year thing that was obvious.

and it looks like they are dropping the Springer, I guess in favor of the Springer Classic, again, I get that, no biggie.

and it looks like they are dropping the stripped Heritage Softail, which again seems find as they're keeping the dressed version AND the Deluxe models which kinda makes the stripped Heritage a bit redundant.

The basic sca V-rod missing is kinda interesting.

BUT WHAT IS REALLY INTERESTING TO ME is that there appears to be no NEW models on this list?

So is the list incomplete or are there NO new models??? I sorta doubt the later could/would be true.

They are GOOD at playing things close to the vest.

Even if you had a 1200 I'd still be quicker since yours would be converted and mine would be the real deal...:p

I was just able to open that file, and I'm suprised too that there aren't any new models listed - but I can't imagine HD not having any. They're pretty good about keeping these things secrete, so I wouldn't get bummed out yet.

Well, 1100 is less than 1200, so simple logic tells me it has to be slower. No way around it - laws of physics...:doh

Harley is the best at keeping secrets. I would be surprised if they don't have a new model or two. They will probably keep those under wraps until the 07's are revealed.

I went over the list and compared to the current model list and didn't see any new models. Everything was there except the ones I noted before. I was looking over the colors though and noticed that there is a "Jake Blue Sunglo & Elwood Blue Sunglo". I'm not sure if that's a hint at a new model or what. Either it's going to be some marketing thing or it's proof that this list is bogus. I just don't know.

the flat (denim) colors are the best imo. too many "shiny" vehicles out there, some flat colors are a nice change

Don't worry most colors they usually bring back after a few years to rotate the selections. Unless they were real bow wows :frownthre

Probably Harley released the colors list just to keep things interesting. There is probably a separate color list for the new models. Look at the 1200L, that didn't come out until all the other bikes. They MUST have something interesting for the 50th anniversary.

22nd July 2006, 05:18
If it weren't for the fuel injection, I would buy a new E-glide so the sporty would have company in the stable.

OH yeah and it would be Olive Pearl and vivid black, I love that.

I saw some of the new 2007 bikes today. Those" denim" colors are nice but the blue denim on the e-glide takes some getting used to. I mean, that's a big patch of that color up front. It makes me think of a Xmas tree ball. ;)

They do have a 50th anniversary sportster, Its a 1200. i like the paint scheme in Black and Orange. And they are all fuel injected now:frownthre

Chopper blue with the black panelled tank rocks on my 06 1200R! Mine's the only one I've ever seen and it was a special order. The 05s had the white panelled tank with chopper blue. Everyone seems to ride in a straight line down here in Florida so most 1200s sold are Customs with forward controls which don't have the same paint scheme as the better handling Roadster.
