If I want to get all black heads highlighted to match my stock jugs, is it hard to do? How much would it cost and would it match or look different enough to tell?

If you mean polishing the edges of the fins, a Dremel tool and lots of patience will do the trick. I've seen it done.

The guy who bores your barrels can do it. Otherwise, get a flat bastard file, pick a weekend with nothing else to do and have fun. I tried the dremel but it tends to leave gouges.

...and if ya got an ironhead, don't waste yer time!

Just want everything to match up and not look half-assed. Was quoted $75 by the head shop.

Take yer time! I did mine by hand and they turned out fine but it took a few days.

Something I've seen on some BT customs is having the jugs powder coated and then having the fins polished and faceted. Looks bad as hell .
