I've got the service manual for my '93 XLH 883, now a 1200, says timing just a bit different for a 1200. My ? is it a staight forward drill out the top of the rivets and catcth the remaing rivet body in the second cover underneath the outer cover. Sorry, but the manual does not specify. Thanks, Terry

You are correct, at least that's how it was on my '98.

Thanks, That's what I asumed. I'm still gonna have a hard timiing it as I have Kerker/Storz up pipes that pretty much covers the viewing area. Gotta have it runnin' to do it.
