I just bought this bike in Dec, used w/990 miles on it. I would like to establish a relationship w/ one of the local dealers. I plan to buy a service manual and do as much of my own work as I can but I'm sure there will be times when I will need input from a dealer. There are 2 that are about the same distance for me and I would like to know which is best. They are Ramsey's Chesapeake HD in Darlington MD. and The HD Store of Baltimore on RT. 40 in White Marsh. If anyone has any experience, Pro or con please let me know. Thanks, Guy

I will second the opinion on Mikes HD of New Castle, DE. A great place for the HD experience, I grew up in the Neighborhood right behind them. All my friends go to a PA dealership for parts & service due to the cost. I'm not sure about down where you are looking at.

The Harley Store on RT. 40......Sucks. As for Ramsey's, I havent had any work done there since it was Garretts so i cant say how it is.

After calling both and getting prices I decided on HD Store of Baltimore. Took the bike there last week and picked it up yesterday. All work was completed as requested and they even tightened my loose ign. switch. Everyone was helpful and very professional. I had to tell them about the ICM reflash and they looked it up and took care of it. This is only one experience but based on it I will go there again. As we all know the dealers are not cheap and I plan on doing most of the fluid changes and what not myself but when I run into something I cant handle I will take it there. This is not to say anything bad about Ramseys as they were very helpful on the phone. Guy
