Got these bags on ebay. they have two bolts for mounting on the metal frame. They came withmetal straps. After trying two different ways of mounting them using the 'straps', they just bounced on them. Got any suggestions?

you can see the bags on my gallery: http://xlforum.net/photopost/showgallery.php/cat/500/ppuser/1744

Thanks!!!:(

I looked at those bags too, but decided they may be too small for my needs. I bought a set off a Dyna police bike and mounted them using Easybrackets. They stick out a ways , almost looks like a trike, but are real solid. There are pics of the brackets in my gallery, but I haven't figured out how to post the link to it here.

Those look like a set of Bates Saddlebags. As far a mounting them goes, you are gonna have to be creative. A custom bracket made out of saddlebags standoff brackets used for soft leather saddlebags, with a little welding might work. Ghost Brackets or, as mentioned, Easy Brackets might work as well.

Be sure and post a pic when you have them mounted.

Snowman, i'm seriously considering using those plans to mount some E-glide bags to my bike, but i'm not really sure how to set the turn signals up, where did you get yours?

I love this idea, i can get them cheaper than i can hard bags for the sporty, and their bigger, and well made.
