Hey guys, wonder if you could help me out.
I need the dimensions from a 2002 Buell Cyclone, for both the front rotor diameter, and the front axle length and subsequent diameters.
Any help is GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks,
-Mike

Just happen to have a spare rotor and front axle in the garage:
The rotor is 13 3/8" or 34 cm in diameter - that should be the same for all tubers.
The axle for M2 (conventional) forks is 11" / 28 cm in overall length. The "thicker" portion is 2 1/2" / 6.5 mm long and 7/8" in diameter. The remainder is 11/16" / 17 mm in diameter.
Hope this helps - what are you up to?

M2 triples, M2 caliper, R6 forks into a 1200N frame with stock HD controls, and stock wheel and tire.
Thanks for the measurements!
Any idea if the M2 bolt pattern for the rotor would be the same for a sportster?

Curiously, the bolt pattern appears identical between my 2001 M2 and 2002 Sportster. Are the rubber mounts the same? The next issue will be if the Buell caliper will clear the Sportster wheel once mounted, but that should work.

I'll check my parts manual.
Hm, I wonder if the R6 axle would work. You wouldn't happen to have a Sporty axle you could measure lying around, would you?
Thanks,
-Mike

I don't have a Sportster axle in the bin, but it would be different on a rubber mount than my 2002.

We are making two units of custom bike in our shop using M2 cyclone engine and the M2 front and rear wheels. We"re using only one rotor in the front(right side) and planning to change our breaking system. . .changing the orig 6 pistons caliper into a 6-pistons brembo caliper, retaining the orig caliper in the rear.We want to order it from the net but could"nt find any. . .wonder if you have any ideas where we can order it?
we greatly appreciated it if you could help us. . .
thanks, thanks,
