Looks like a good start.... but...well, I am not sure how to say this in a nice way....

Those tassles belong on a buffalo hunter's jacket or a stripper's tits, not on a Sportster especially if it is going to be a bobber. Let the twinkies put that shit all over thier bikes.

BHT added to preserve freshness. Caution: This product has caused some laboratory rats to rip through their cages, fly across the room and brutally murder hundreds of innocent people. Shake well before using. No vacuum tubes or other user-serviceable parts inside. Not to be combined with other radioisotopes except under the advice of a physicist. What the hell does Preacher know... I think those tassles actually work on your bike. Most of the time they look cheesy but not bad on yours. Maybe rub some greas into them to make make them look even better.

I don't like the chrome on the oil bag though. It's time to free up the original bag and jetison that chrome cover.

Hey preacher I agree and they would look better on the bike with the apes.Haven't thought about that
cheap crome cover, might just take it off.Tried the inverted way first, ass too high/bars too low

Gary

I'm gonna disagree... I don't think the tassles would look good with apes. They look good on the low bars (IMHO).

Nice scoot man. You ditch the chrome and tassles and you will be there. I'm just suprised Preach didn't mention the chrome cover first.

With the chrome shocks, fender struts, cam & sprocket cover, valve covers etc etc, I didn't think I had a chance to talk him out of it.

You gotta pick your battles, man..... :roflblack :roflblack :roflblack :roflblack

I am with preacher on this one. Tassles belong on strippers titties and that is the only proper place.

Mmm... stripper tits....

Sorry, back to the topic at hand. I partially agree with Preacher; although tassles work on some bikes, I don't think they keep the bobber look going well. The rest of the bike has this outstanding badass look (definite kudos on 99% of it), but the tassles sort of soften its "f:censor you" look. And for the chrome, maybe a little scotchbrite could take care of that. Keep the metal look, but not as much glint. Or just don't wash it quite as often; let the dirt build up and dull the chrome a tad! Other than those two minor issues, I love it!

And Preach, I'm sorry. I did combine it with one radioisotope (technetium-99m), but I contacted a 3rd year biophysics student with a 3.74GPA who, upon verification from her prof, said it would be safe. She either said combining it would be safe or insane - it was hard to tell over the phone. I'm pretty sure she said "safe", though. Well, kinda sure.

I think your bike is looking bad-ass, although I'd have to agree with most here about the tassles. I think that if you weathered those chorme side covers it might look kinda cool...a contrast to the flat black. All in all, you've got a nice looking scoot.
