Hey guys, just bought a 08 Nightster and put the Rush 1.75 slip ons into the deal. Does anyone else here have this exhaust? I have not installed them yet and was also wondering if it was a difficult job. the parts guy said no, but it seems a littel harder than it looks.

He also told me that they were one of the few to not need to remapped.

Does anyone have these pipes or another Rush setup and are you happy? Are they hard to put on? Any real power increase? Ialso got foward controls, should I put thsoe on first or second? Thanks I love the bike, I got the black/orange combo.

thx for any responces

I bought rush slips on for my 07. Had to get it remapped as it was running too rich.

I don't have the Rush slip-ons, but I'd suggest that you install the forward controls once you have the exhaust headers off of the bike...it'll be an easier job with the exhaust out of your way.

I can only guess that the Rush slip-on install will be similar to most other brands. Mine were a piece of cake with a little WD-40. Just wipe all of that off before you start the bike or you'll think you've got an exhaust leak.
