Indy (doing my conversion) just advised me that the collar around the piston retaining pin was essentially fried and had way to much play or clearance between it and the pin that holds the piston to the connecting rod. Bottom line, I'm waiting for a new one.
What might have caused this? Evidently there's supposed to be around 1/1000th clearance and I had like 4 times that?
