about how many miles can these bike go bfore changing the tires, our new bike has 2200 miles and the tires seeem a bit worn. if anybody has any input on this plz let me know. here in mass bike inspection is real tough, 1 shop i used to go practicly tore the bike down! this year i went the dealer i bought my harley at and it was much easier.

The rear might last around 3000 miles, but that's about it. The single cylinder thumper pulses will wear out a rear tire more quickly that a two cylinder due to the uneven firing.

The front tire will usually last at least twice as long as the rear.

Minimum tread depth for those tires is 2/32". You can use the penny test, or go get yourself a cheap tread depth gauge at the auto parts store (or good cycle shop.)
