Does anyone here have a LePera Silhouette LT seat? I'm seriously considering a purchase of one of these in the 'Up Front' (reach) model.
I would also like to hear your comments pro/con on the LePera biker gel.
I have a Mustang Solo now, looking to get something different.....

LePera gel = hard, very hard.
I've got a Maverick LT 2up with gel front and back. After 9,500 miles I think it's starting to break in.:doh
Still, I love their seats. They look way cool and even my wife thinks it is getting more comfortable.:)
I don't think I'd get the gel again but I do recommend their seats.:clap
They will drop you a little compared to the Mustang and they taper nicely in the front to ease reaching the ground too. I thought about lowering my '03 883XL with a Mustang seat so I could flat foot easier. I'm fine with the LePera on my '05.

I have the Lepera seat you're talking about with gel. I love it! I got it to move me closer to the controls and decided to get the gel put in for the long rides. I love it! I've put on up to 400 miles in a day with a few stops and it's been fine for me.

Hey Sportster Girl,
May not pertain, but I'll throw this in anyway... When I bought my Superglide in Feb., it had a LePera Siluoette single seat with the gel innards. On the plus side, it looked great.:D (look at my gallery, the bottom snap with the bike in the truck is with this seat) Gave the bike a lean bar-hopper look. :tour Also on the plus side- this seat seems to be very well made.:smoke
Minus? It is rather hard.... firm... whatever you want to call it. I needed a two-up setup, and the Silouette Gel was too firm for this 52 year old butt.:roflblack
That seat does look great, though. good luck...:banana

I've had that seat for about 4 yrs now and i love the look and comfort of the seat, i don't have the gel option.
BTW- they make that seat in full length (one pictured) and up front which maybe better for your needs to help reach the controls better.
