Schuncki and I will be flying to California this Wednesday and then driving to Indiana for my son's high school graduation. This is Schnucki's second time to the USA and first time to California
We will be driving my parent's mobile camper all the way from Cali to Indiana so Schnucki will be seeing a lot of the USA.
I am excited and Schnucki is very nervous!
I can't wait to meet many of the So-Cal XL Forum members in Indio on the 27th!

BIKER SAFETY TIP OF THE WEEK
Group Riding
Riding in a group is a lot of fun but at the same time create a riding enviroment that can be very dangerous. Before riding with a group insure that you have a lot of experience and are compfortable with your bike. If you do not, but still plan to ride with the group, be sure and let the ride captain know.
There are many safety aspects to group riding and I can not cover them all here so I recommend that you read the article HERE at the Motorcyclecruiser.com.

JOKE OF THE WEEK
Al Gore decides to try riding a motorcycle, even though he has had no lessons or prior experience.
He mounts the motorcycle uninstructed, turns it on and it immediately roars into motion.
As it moves along faster and faster, Al begins to fall from the seat. In terror, he grips tightly on the handlebars, but can't get a firm grip. He tries to throw his arms around the motorcycle's gas tank, but he slides down the side of the motorcycle anyway.
Finally giving up his frail grip, he tries to leap off the motorcycle and throw himself to safety. Unfortunately, his foot has become entangled in the exhaust pipes. He is now at the mercy of the motorcycle's roaring wheels as his head is struck against the ground, over and over.
He is moments away from unconsciousness when, to his great fortune, Wendell, the Wal-Mart greeter, sees him and unplugs the motorcycle.
