OK.....
A straight up question. I'm looking at the the new Buell Ulysses.
I like their look and features. My concern is trouble free reliablilty and the Buell build quality.
What the 411. Last HD I had was a '57 XLR Sportster, I realize that things have changed, but am concerned that the bike may not hold up as well as I expect.
Thanks,

A well made, strong running bike. The only problem you may have is if you're height challenged. A tall bike.
I sold mine for reasons not related to the bike.

No worries there as I'm 6'1" with a 34 inseam.
More interested in engine reliablity. Have read some complaints of oil usage and front bearing problems in other forums. Been awhile since I've rode a true American product. The other concern I have is aftermarket exhaust, a Harley should sound like a Harley. I spoke to a Buell Rep. at Sears POint this weekend at our AMA Superbike races. He said that aftermarket exhausts cut down on the power of the factory designed muffler, which in my opinion kills the sound of the twin....bad news.

Don't believe it...a micron with an open airbox and a remap turns an 89 RWHP motorcycle into 101 RWHP, with more midrange torque and a wicked sound.

There have been issues in the UK with sidestand failure, and exhaust corrosion.
