Hi guys.

Just wondering if anyone has done or seen any Buells with the handlebars changed for comfort. Meaning a little taller for less leaning over for a more relaxed position? Any pics?

I ride a sporty now, but there are times I miss my crotch rockets. :o Makes me want to get a Buell.

Me again. Sorry.

I haven't changed my handlebars. My XB9R comes with clip-ons and they are fine for me. Ergonomics are still good and much better than most rotch crockets.

I have seen many pictures though of guys who have changed. Crossroads is a big one. Very nice stuff.

Have you seen the new CityX? Sit on one or better yet, demo one. You'll be surprised with the ergonomics.

Super old threar "I know...silly newbies"...

So this is my first post and this is my only draw back to getting my first buell is the limited options on changing out the bars. I have searched for about a month now and am in having a hard time finding anything that is showing me that first of Yes it CAN be done and second of all any examples of such swap.

thanks for letting a newbie slip by on his first post and NOT axing him for bring back such an old topic :)

I can't speak for the newer buell's, but mine is a '98 S3T with touring bars which are a few inches taller than the standard ones. I am heading on my first trip with the bike to the Smokey Mts. from KC this weekend and can report back on how it fared.

I put Buell Blast handlebars on my 98 S1W and they are an excellent improvement in the comfort department. All the cables and wires were plenty long enough, so nothing needed to be modded.
