kustomwerks oil filter

does anyone have any experience w/ kustomwerks oil filters? i need to change the oil, i tried two local indys, neither of them had a black hd oil filter in stock. (they had the crome one). both shops claimed these are good, i just don't want to risk the engine over 6 dollars.

if these filters get the good ole seal of approval from members here, i guess i can trust them

Chrome HD Filters are fine....never had a black one my Sporty yet!

What do you find wrong with the chrome HD filter, I've been using them with no problems??

i'm not looking for chrome b/c i don't think it will look as good a black one on my bike (an 02 883r). i am wondering if the kustomwerks one is any good. if not i will return it for a chrome hd one.

just get the WIX/Napa gold black filter. It is at least as good if not better then the HD or aftermarket filter and readily avaiable at Napa parts stores.
