Did you name your sporty?Is your bike a he or a she...or both:shhhh
Just wondering.

I wanted to name it but nothing ever came along where I said "That's it!"

I didn't want to force it. I have had the bike for almost 2 years and 20,000 miles. I recently did a bunch of crap to the bike.

Now I am starting to call it the SportChop or my Sporty Chop. The frame is not chopped. But I did cut some off the fenders. Probably more of a bobber. But I like calling it the sport chop.

well, i've had my bike 4 years, and the wife, 3. their names are 'my bike' and 'your bike'... though i have to admit that it gets a little confusing when i say my bike and the wife starts looking at hers and i say no, not that one, and she says oh, you mean your bike, and i say, no, my bike........ know what i mean?

Well I havent named my bike, but it's definately a she...anything that is referred to as me riding it, has to be a she.;)

Well my bikes a she of course and man does my wife hate it when I refer to my bike as a female but thats tough shit. But as far as a name I've been thinking but never have come up with a name yet that suits her. It will dawn on me one day and she'll have a name.

Named mine Sassy. She has an attitude. She's like having a little sister to me.

Mine is Annie, she's an Anniversary model, so it seem to fit.

My wife just calls her that chrome whore.

When I talk bikes with guys and they ask what I named her, they're never surprised at the answer, but I always find it funny that any girl that goes for a ride on the bike always asks me what I named my bike, and they always look surprised when they get an answer. What is it that shocks them, that I did name it (if you didn't expect me to name it, you shouldn't have asked!) or that it's a girl's name? What, should I name it a guy's name, like Tony? How bad would that sound? "Yeah, I'm gonna go hop on Tony and go riding for a few hours". I don't think so.:frownthre Besides, the way I sweet talk that bike, it must be a girl!

No clue what to name her, but i sure as hell dont want to have been riding a guy these past four thousand miles...

Therapy....ever notice you never see a harley outside a psychiatrist office! when I have a really hard day, I just hop on therapy and take a ride. I also have a scout II in mint condition. The top stays off most the year, this one I've named rainmaker.

MY boyfriends name is Tony!lol!

I haven't named her yet. But it's a she. I met some chick met kriket at one point in time and that is kinda sounding right for the bike in comparison. Hrm... lol

Jamman named my bike Black Betty, ahd she is one helluva ride!

My wife named my bike "The Mistress", because since I got her, I spend all my free time with her. When someone phones looking for me, she tells them I am out with my mistress.

I need to make a correction for an Update.

Annie, my 2003 sportster, was sold last year, replaced by my red FLHT Marie, unfortunately, she has met an Untimely demise (A Left turning Honda Accord) and has ben totaled.(May she rest in Peace)
My New 2007 FLHT In Pacific Blue Pearl is Mary.

She is named for the Patron Saint Of Motorcyclist, Mary, mother of God.(Jesus's Mom if you will).

Oh, and my wife now approves of this bike and her name.

Mine is Helen...Helen Bach. The poor girl had been to hell and back before I got her. Lots o' TLC needed.
