jag1 18th February 2005, 18:41 The powdercoating was done by a local sop in Battle Creek, MI called Beech & Rich. Thanks for the compliments.
Shark Doctor 18th February 2005, 19:22 I gotta see this Babe!!!
Soon as the weather clears, we have to ride... only 45 min away!!! Neat bike nights in Battle Creek (Mon and Wed, though Mon may be disappearing...).
Have you thought about the May ride referred to elsewhere on the Forum?
jag1 18th February 2005, 19:44 Zingy, The rear has 11.5" progressives the front is stock.
Shark doc, I went to Gary fields about every monday last summer. He's got a place now in Kalamazoo, I hear he's going to be haveing the bike night there too. Where was the Wed. bike night at I haven't heard of that one.
NXC1978 18th February 2005, 20:01 Looks really good! I want to do the forks like you did on my bike. Nice!

Scarecrow2311 18th February 2005, 20:12 Looks good.... now I am positive I want to get my Engine cases done wrinkle black, wasnt sure how they would look on the 883C . now as far as the black AC & Fork sliders...Hmm I will have to Photoshop a pic of mine after the paint job to see how it would look.
Turbota 20th February 2005, 06:30 Really looks good! :)
Would be nice to see a couple of real clear closeups of those cases.
Very Nice!
toothygrin 20th February 2005, 06:32 You should take off the passenger pegs with your solo seat.

LOL! I noticed that too, rear pegs should be gone.
If you notice my Pic, I've also left the rear pegs on!!!! Come in real handy when you want to change riding positions on a Long Haul!!!! :D
jag1 21st February 2005, 13:42 Rear pegs,
I would love to take the rear pegs off.
But, my gf rides with me on occasions so I set the bike up to go from solo seat to original 2up for her. I've been trying to think of a way for quick detach pegs. Any ideas? Thanks for the comments guys.
BobH 22nd February 2005, 02:31 Sweet, dude. One of the few Sporty's I've seen that ain't been uglied up with a buncha bolt-on shiny stuff. Do ya wonder what it would look like with a side-mount tail light, and the fender cut-off at about the same level as the bottom of the strut?

Bob,
Funny you mention that I was looking at that for next winters project. But not going so far forward with the fender. On ocassions I do two up rideing so I don't want to chop that much off the fender. The way it looks now isn't the final look. but like you said I won't ruin it with chrome. When in doubt black it out.
Ironhead228 4th March 2005, 09:52 it looks bad as hell... and that's a good thing!
af_sting 4th March 2005, 10:02 I can't tell, did you completely lose the rear turn signals? Also, are those removable saddlebag pegs on the back?
Looks really good and quite tough. Black is a very strong color.

Thanks for the comments. I replaced the original turn signals with mini bullets in the same location. No those aren't pegs for removeable saddlebags there the original bolts.
