The most interesting thing for me is that HD is saying that the oil was tested at 300 degrees for extended periods of time with no significant breakdown. Also, they are saying a good operating temperature is 200 - 240.

I think that flier is half truth and half hype by looking at statements such as "another engine oil will tend to reduce the superior engine protection of the Harley-Davidson motorcycle oil."

I'm betting more like 90% hype and 10% truth. HD talked bad about synthetics for the longest time, mostly because they didn't sell one, IMHO.

Dyno oil that wont break down at 300 degrees??? yea... right, oh there goes that flying pig, i'm gonna shoot that damn thing one of these days.
