View Full Version : Wife's new ride
Welp it was time for a new car for the wife and she's been working 50 hrs a week so we got her a car she's always wanted,a nice ragtop.
'05 Mustang convertible with leather seats and a 500watt factory stereo with a 6 CD changer.
Power windows,cruise,AC etc.
Got home after dark last night so the pics aren't the best but you'll get the idea.
Only 16K miles and looks brand new.

Very nice. That thing's just barely broken in. One of these might actually get me to buy a Ford again. Last one was a '73 Maverick.
Congratulations

Tell her we say "congrats"! The girlfriend of a buddy of mine got an '06 back in February (same thing: ragtop, 6disk CD, etc.) and she's had this "I just got laid" grin on her face ever since! Between the look and feel of those things (she took me out for a drive in it!), it's starting to restore my faith in the Mustang.

kick ass, that's a nice car. I dig the Gt's with the ground effects kit.

Lol!....I'm an old bowtie guy myself,last ford I owned was a long time ago,a '64 Falcon 260 V-8.
I've been a Chevy guy most of my life and had a '69 427 Camaro among many other Chevys.
Seems to me though that GM is asleep at the wheel these days and has little to offer unless you can afford a Vette or Cad.
Ford got it right with the new gen stang on all counts.
So here I am making the switch from the bowtie to the blue oval.
This is a great driving car and the looks speak for themselves ;)
