Not to be confused with strapons.

Woooo....
Clip-ons are like what Exile uses on most of there bikes, Russ Mitchell, Build or Bust. I'd say its a good time to get rid of the stock instruments and upgrade a bit. But now were talking some $$$.

How about mounting the standard bracket to the eyebrow bolts. Use some longer bolts and a couple craftsman sockets as spacers (they're shiny), or if you're not into shine just a couple chunks of painted hollow bar from home depot (bar stock bin).

What are clipons?Handlebars that clip on to the top of the fork tubes rather than the top of the triple tree. They're pretty common on sport bikes.

i was playing around with that idea, the holes dont actually line up. spacing is off by about 1/4" or so. i think im gonna put gauges a bit back, closer to the tank where riser is. and i may be using a 7" headlight, wanna keep the eyebrow even if its not holdin the headlight, just a carryover part which i kinda like.

That pic is sweet. Buddy did that to an old honda 650c years ago. It was awesome.
Might not feel too good with forward controls.

Not clip-ons, but this is mounted to the upper tree. Lowers the headlamp and speedo.

Yes, easier to pick a mans bike from a dyna in a crowd.
its one of those parts that were designed perfect and havent changed much, sorta like the engine.

Don’t credit me nor blame me for that idea. This has been done for years before I knew what a cafe’ was. I copied one or more of the following: Timbo, Café Bill (The Commander), Larry (Kidcoocoo)

I know you're half kidding, but a lot of the 2005 and earlier Dyna models (all except the Wide Glide) used the eyebrow, no?

Now, 2006 is all different, but there are a lot of 1991 - 2005 Dynas out there. Might want to lose the eyebrow so your man's bike DOESN'T get mixed up with them.
I respect your decision to keep it. I personally hated mine, so I got rid of it.
