The specs on the '06 1200R states, "high-compression, high-flow cylinder heads; performance cams."
Could someone explain how much performance these cams have vs. stock cams? After reading Turbotas cam thread I can't help but think about changing my own. Thanks for clearing this up.

theyre hotter cams than the solid mount sporty's... but theyre nothin special. they are "stock cams" theyre the same as the 1200C's cams. The ones in the thread your refferring to are the SE E .551's i believe, which would give you a nice boost, ive been considering this myself.

The .551's improve top-end performance slightly but it does seem to lose a little at the bottom end.
The only real downside to these cams is the noise...they make the top-end real rattly.

get the .575s instead.
